School Advisory Committee

The School Advisory Committee consists of ten members - five parents and five teachers elected each May. The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Principal on pertinent matters for the improvement of the school. The committee serves as an advisory body, not a policy-making body. The Sullivans' SAC major goals are to establish, expand and maintain effective communications between the school, CFAY and the Yokosuka community. Areas of special interest include Instructional Resources, School Policy, Public Services, and Student Standards of Conduct and Discipline. Meetings are held monthly and are open to all parents. A suggestion box is maintained in the school office. Suggestions may be placed in the box for the Committee to consider. Names of committee members are posted on the bulletin board in the school lobby. Minutes of the most recent meeting will also be posted in the Starlight Express.
